"My journey with Dr. J began with a struggle centered on managing my anxiety but quickly evolved into an exploration of deeper traumas that had been influencing my life for decades.  Through Dr. J’s open-mindedness and proficiency in various approaches, we’ve been able to explore different techniques including EMDR, brain-spotting, EFT, and IFS.  My care felt individualistic as Dr. J didn’t push a single modality on me; instead, she listened, was flexible, and constantly adapted to what was best for me.  

Through her skill, I’ve been able to access difficult memories from my childhood that helped me understand why I react the way I do, why certain triggers affect me, and why I often default to certain behaviors.  With Dr. J, I’ve been able to express my emotions and cry without fear of judgment.  I’ve made improvements in my daily life.  And I’m learning to embrace self-compassion—something I never thought was possible.  Through it all, I feel like I am finally behind the wheel in my journey and becoming the person that I want to be, and I know that I wouldn’t have been able to navigate this path without Dr. J.
